Arctic Monkeys berasal dari kota Sheffield, Inggris, kota yang sama dimana band-band lain seperti Pulp dan Deff Leppard berasal.Pada tahun 2005 album pertama mereka “Whatever People Say I Am That’s What I Am Not” pun dirilis. Album ini kemudian tercatat dalam sejarah inggris sebagai album perdana yang paling cepat terjual, karena mampu terjual 363,735 keping hanya dalam waktu 1 minggu!.
BLUR
Blur adalah sebuah grup musik rock asal Inggris yang didirikan di Colchester pada tahun 1989 dengan nama Seymour di Goldsmiths College dari mantan personel suatu band yang bernama Circus. Digawangi oleh Dammon Albarn (Bass) yang juga mengisi vokal pada band electro-pop Gorillaz. Blur dianggap sebagai ikon dari aliran musik Britpop dan termasuk salah satu band yang sukses baik dari sudut pandang kritikus maupun komersil.
OASIS
Oasis adalah band rock influental asal Inggris yang dibentuk di Manchester pada tahun 1991. Awalnya menggunakan nama The Rain, grup yang digawangi oleh Gallagher bersaudara ini, Liam Gallagher (vokal) dan Noel Gallagher (gitar dan vokal). Setelah mengganti nama menjadi Oasis, mereka mulai menandatangani kontrak label Indie Creation Records pada tahun 1994.
RADIOHEAD
Radiohead adalah band rock alternatif Inggris dari Abingdon, Oxfordshire, dibentuk pada tahun 1985. Band yang digawangi oleh salah satu musisi jenius dunia, Thom Yorke (vokal, rhythm guitar, piano, ketukan). Radiohead merilis single pertama mereka, "Creep", pada tahun 1992. Lagu itu awalnya berhasil, tetapi itu menjadi hit di seluruh dunia beberapa bulan setelah peluncuran album debut mereka, Pablo Honey (1993).
